World Osteoporosis Day

Today, on June 24th, we observe World Osteoporosis Day in Poland. All around the world, however, the celebration of this holiday falls on October 20th. The disease is characterized by a progressive loss of bone mass, weakening of bone structure and increased susceptibility to fractures. An early diagnosis can help in the fight against osteoporosis. Therefore, it is expedient to conduct densitometric measurements of bone mineral density.
