World Hepatitis Day

Hepatitis is a group of liver infectious diseases that lead to its damage - the development of inflammatory-necrotic changes, caused by types A, B, or C viruses (HAV, HBV, HCV), as well as types D, E, or G (HAD, HEV, HGV). According to the World Health Organisation, conditions related to hepatitis represent one of the greatest threats to humanity and currently rank as the eighth leading cause of death worldwide.
