Qualifications for the Day Psychiatric Rehabilitation Unit for Children and Adolescents

The Warsaw-Ochota Independent Complex of Public Open Treatment Facilities operates a Day Psychiatric Rehabilitation Ward for Children and Adolescents in the Ursus District.
The Department accepts children completing compulsory schooling in the seventh and eighth grades of primary school.
We provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment and psychological support.
We accept applications for the Branch throughout the calendar year.
After registering your child for the Department, you will be invited to a qualification assessment conducted by a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist.
 
At the Department, we offer psychiatric care and comprehensive psychological therapy for young people experiencing:

• mood disorders (including depression, bipolar disorder);
• anxiety disorders (including school phobia, social phobia);
• obsessive-compulsive disorder;
• neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD, Asperger's syndrome);
• schizophrenia, schizophrenia-like disorders, delusional disorders;
• behavioral and emotional disorders;
• stress-related disorders;
• somatoform disorders.

 
Our Therapeutic Team includes many specialists: psychiatrists, psychotherapists (CBT, psychodynamic), clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, and nurses.
We provide:

• psychological and psychiatric diagnostics;
• care of a specialist psychiatrist;
• individual and group psychotherapy;
• group therapeutic activities (support group, psychoeducation, TUS, memory and concentration training, psychodrawing, music therapy, relaxation training);
• occupational therapy (art therapy, manual therapy, folk therapy);
• support for parents and guardians in the form of individual consultations;
• support and development workshops for caregivers;
• fulfilling compulsory schooling in small groups.
